Michael has been a featured chef on various television shows and international publications. He has been invited as a guest chef to locations spanning from the Caribbean on Holland America Cruise Lines, to a five- year repeat performance at Disney World's International Food and Wine Festival. He can be seen on his bi-weekly cooking segment on WCAX Television Morning News, and offers custom cooking classes in his restaurant kitchen.
Governor Jim Douglas and the Vermont Hospitality Council awarded Michael the first ever “Vermont Chef of the Year, 2007”, and the restaurant was honored as “Best of Waterbury Center, 2008 & 2009” by the US Local Business Association.
The restaurant has also received the 2009 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence & the 2009 Santé Regional Winner as a Sustainable Restaurant.
