Café Selections from Chef Michael
Our long desire to prepare wonderful local food more affordably to our community has led us to our partnership with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. This is a perfect relationship for us because of our shared social and environments beliefs.
We have created a locally driven breakfast and lunch food line that is available at the Green Mountain Coffee Café in Waterbury’s historic train station.
“Café Selections from Chef Michael” consists of a variety of locally driven, homemade baked goods, salads, and sandwiches, such as Cabot Butter Stuffed Croissants, Highland Cattle Meatloaf Turnovers with Caramelized Onions and Tomato Chutney, Misty Knoll Turkey Salad and Red Hen Bread Pudding with Green Mountain Coffee Organic Espresso Infused VT Maple Syrup. Daily specials reflect the best of the season, such as Strawberry Rhubarb Scones, Potato Ramp Soup and Pulled Winding Brook Farm Lamb Salad with Spicy Tunisian Dressing.
Boxed Lunches and catering is also available through the café.
Breakfast and lunch catering services, box lunches and picnics on the Waterbury Green are also offered.
We are pleased to be supporters of the following local businesses:
Elmore Mountain Bread, Red Hen Bakery, Butterworks Farm, Highland Cattle Company, North Country Smokehouse, Cabot Creamery, Vermont Butter and Cheese, Champlain Orchards, King Arthur Flour, Black River Produce, Squash Valley Produce, Misty Knoll, Sugar Mountain Farm, Mansfield Dairy, Pete and Gerry’s Eggs, Winding Brook Farm, Hazendale Farm, Monument Farm, Tol a Bel Farm, Foot Brook Farm, Gaylord Farm, Littlewood Farm, Maplebrook Farm, Vermont Salad & Herb Company and Sandiwood Farm.
